Keeping the paperwork in order is often a major battle for sports Clubs. Sportslink can take care of everything from membership records to financial reports. 

Subscriptions/Membership

The Xero accounting package can be used as a database and you can categorise members, suppliers, customers etc. into lists. These lists can be used for all forms of communication and can be used to arrange subscription billing. Sportslink can invoice your subscriptions and send statements and payment reminders, and keep you notified of any members in arrears. This can also be done via email.

Fundraising 

A major source of funding for most Sports Clubs are community gaming trusts, and the procedures and applications for funding are complex and time-consuming. 
Sportslink can assist your Club in accurately compiling all of the information needed to apply for funding, right through to ensuring your Club correctly uses the approved funding and reports back to the community trust. 

Sportslink does not provide fundraising services, however we do provide advice on the procedures need to keep a clear and auditable paper trail of fundraising money.

Book-keeping 

Sportslink can help your Club keep the books balanced. We use the well-known Xero online accounting system.  This gives the clubs an opportunity to view their financial position online on an on-going basis. You simply provide Sportslink with your Club bank statements and other source records, and we categorise your income and expenses and produce all the financial reports your Club needs at the press of a button.

Managing the Money 

Sportslink does not have access to or handle any Club funds – but does provide advice on systems and controls designed to provide an audit trail and reduce the likelihood of theft or fraud. We can also collate and categorise monthly bills, and organise cheques or payment lists and minutes ready for Club signature and approval.  

Sportslink Facilities 

Sportslink is based in office facilities at Elwood Park on the northern outskirts of Hastings.  Also onsite are facilities to provide for conferences or functions. Preferential bookings and rates will be available to Sports clubs and non-profits by booking through Sportslink.
